Welcome to Pediatric Gastrocon - 2024, a premier Continuing Medical Education (CME) event dedicated to advancing knowledge in pediatric gastroenterology. Objective of the webinar/Event
The objective of Pediatric Gastrocon - 2024 is to provide healthcare professionals with the latest insights and advancements in pediatric gastroenterology. The event aims to enhance participants' clinical skills by focusing on current trends, diagnostic challenges, and treatment options for gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional disorders in children. Through expert-led lectures, interactive case discussions, and hands-on workshops, the CME seeks to promote improved patient care and foster collaboration among pediatric specialists.
Brief content of lecture
In continuation with its pursuit of academic excellence, the Department of Pediatrics, FMHS, SGT University, under the able guidance of Dr. Pankaj Abrol, Professor & Head and Organizing Chairperson, along with Organizing Secretary, Dr. Bishnupriya Sahoo, conducted a CME titled “Pediatric Gastrocon - 2024” on 23rd October 2024 in the SGT Hospital Auditorium. This multispecialty CME covered various topics across pediatric super specialties such as gastroenterology, infections, neonatology, and intensive care.
Distinguished speakers from prestigious institutions, including Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, Artemis Hospital, Gurugram, Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, New Delhi, Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya, New Delhi, and SGT Medical College*, delivered insightful talks.
The event registered 186 delegates from across Delhi, Gurgaon, PGIMS Rohtak, and other parts of Haryana. It was a highly interactive CME, where international-caliber experts engaged freely with postgraduate students and delegates. Such academic activities significantly enhance the exposure of postgraduate students, boosting their confidence and decision-making skills, which in turn contributes to improved patient care. The event was accredited with 4 Credit Hours by the Haryana Medical Council (Letter No. HMC/2024/3862, dated 07.10.2024).
