Introduction:The "Pediatric Criticare - 2024" CME event was designed to enhance the expertise of healthcare professionals in managing critically ill children. The event focused on the latest advancements, clinical protocols, and technologies in pediatric critical care. Through expert lectures, case discussions, and interactive workshops, the CME aimed to equip the participants with cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills to improve outcomes in pediatric intensive care units (PICUs). The program emphasized a multidisciplinary approach, fostering collaboration among pediatricians, intensivists, and nurses to address the complex challenges in pediatric critical care.

Objective of the webinar/Event:The objective of the *"Pediatric Criticare - 2024"* CME is to update healthcare professionals on the latest advancements and best practices in pediatric critical care. The event aims to improve clinical skills, promote a multidisciplinary approach, and enhance patient outcomes by providing evidence-based strategies for managing critically ill children in pediatric intensive care units (PICUs).

Brief content of lecture:In continuation with its pursuit for academic excellence, Department of Pediatrics, FMHS, SGT University, under able guidance of Dr. Pankaj Abrol as Professor & Head and Organizing Chairperson for the event along with Organizing Secretary, Dr. Nidhi Bedi of SGT University, conducted a CME “PEDIATRIC CRITICARE- 2024” on 08.10.2024 in SGT Hospital Auditorium. It was a multispecialty CME covering varied topics in different pediatric super specialties like Hematology oncology, Neurology, Cardiology, Infections, Neonatology, and Intensive care. Distinguished speakers, who had come from Motherhood Women & Children Hospital, Gurugram, Fortis Hospital, Gurugram, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, Artemis Hospital, Gurugram and SGT Medical College itself delivered excellent talks. One hundred and seventy nine delegates were registered, who had come from Delhi, Gurgaon, PGIMS Rohtak and other parts of Haryana.

It was quite an interactive CME as experts of international caliber interacted freely with postgraduate students and the delegates. Such academic activities with the experts having international level experience go a long way in giving excellent exposure to the postgraduate students, boosting their self-confidence and ability to take decisions, ultimately contributing to improvement in the patient care. Haryana Medical Council had accredited 4 Credit Hours vide its letter no. HMC/2024/3864, dated 07.10.2024.>
