Women Study Centre, in collaboration with the Faculty of Education, successfully organized an enlightening event on the theme “Women’s Safety: A Nation’s Necessity.” The event brought together esteemed dignitaries, faculty members, and students to discuss and raise awareness about the crucial issue of women’s safety in the society.

The objective of the lecture was to promote and raise awareness of women's rights and to achieve equal opportunity status in all walks of life. The day also commemorates the inspiring role of women around the world to secure women’s rights and build more equitable societies. Women’s Day also remembers the voices of many women that go unheard and who continue to be dominated from securing their rights and realizing their full potential.
