SGT University Celebrates Research and Innovation at Scholar Felicitation Ceremony 2025
In a proud testament to its growing research culture and commitment to academic excellence, SGT University hosted the Scholar Felicitation Ceremony 2025, honouring student innovators who have demonstrated outstanding achievements during the academic year. The event, organized by the Scholar’s Council, was a celebration of intellectual rigor, creativity, and the university’s steadfast vision of nurturing the next generation of scholars and changemakers.
An epitome of Research and Innovation himself, Mr. Sanjay Salil, Founder and CEO of Media Guru, graced the event as the chief guest, whose presence inspired students to pursue innovation with purpose. He was joined by esteemed dignitaries including Prof. (Dr.) Madan Mohan Chaturvedi, Provost of SGT University, and Deans of all the 19 faculties, underscoring the institution’s collaborative academic ecosystem.
The highlight of the ceremony was the showcase of 64 student-led research projects spanning both medical and non-medical streams, an impressive cross-section of disciplines and ideas. These projects reflect the spirit of inquiry and innovation that SGT University continuously fosters. In a competitive but celebratory atmosphere, the Top 8 Research Projects were recognized as the best of the best, setting a benchmark for student-led academic contributions. These awards were presented in the following categories:
Awardees from Medical Stream:
- First Prize: Srishti Mittal, Faculty of Dental Sciences
- Second Prize: Monika, Bhumika, Ravina and Annu, Faculty of Nursing; Aarti, Kritika Deva and Muskan Sinsinwar, Faculty of Physiotherapy
- Third Prize: Yuvraj Singh, Abhinav Utkarsh and Shourya Singh, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences
Awardees from Non-medical Stream:
- First Prize: Sidhant Katyal, Shruti Pandita and Ms. Apourvi, Faculty of Engineering and Technology
- Second Prize: Namita Kumari, Prashant and Aman, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences
- Third Prize: Muskan, Sanjana, Kashish and Priyanshi, Faculty of Commerce and Management
- Most Promising Project: Priyanka Singhal, Jenisha Kaur, Shruti Singh and Anushka Thakur, Faculty of Behavioural Sciences
Furthermore, all participating students received Certificates of Participation, acknowledging their valuable contributions to the university’s research mission. The ceremony not only applauded current achievers but also ignited a spirit of academic ambition among their peers.
