On December 19th, 20th, 25th, 26th and 27th 2024 the Women’s Study Centre, SGT University conducted a Training Workshop on Cloth Bag Making. The session was attended by 18 women and was led by Women’s Study Centre in association with Faculty of Design with Ms. Geeta, as a trainer in the field. The workshop focused on teaching women how to create cloth bags, emphasizing practical skills in cutting, stitching, and designing. Ms. Geeta provided hands-on guidance throughout the session, ensuring that each participant could produce a finished product by the end of the workshop. The training was successful in imparting valuable skills and raising awareness about sustainable alternatives to plastic bags. Participants gained practical experience and insight into eco-friendly practices.
