Dr. Monica Dhiman

Dr. Monica Dhiman is an Assistant Professor & Head of Department in the Department of Kaumarbhritya, Faculty of Indian Medical System, Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurugram, Haryana. Prior to joining SGT University, she served as an Assistant Professor at Doon Ayurvedic Medical College, Saharanpur, UP. She completed her BAMS from MSM Institute of Ayurveda, BPSMV, Khanpur Kalan, Sonipat, and her MD in Kaumarbhritya-Balroga from the Institute of Ayurveda Studies and Research (IASR), Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra, Haryana. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD from Glocal University, Saharanpur, U.P., with a strong research focus on innovative Ayurvedic interventions in pediatric healthcare. She has actively contributed to the field through her research and academic engagements. She has presented research papers at national and international conferences. Some of her notable works include papers on pediatric endocrinology, Ayurvedic management of Grahani Dosha, and integrative respiratory care offering a dedicated OPD for weight and growth disorders, developmental challenges, and neurobehavioral conditions. She has also delivered live lectures on public health topics through media platforms like All India Radio and Khabar Fast News Channel. She has participated in various Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), workshops, and CMEs. As an educator and researcher, Dr. Monica Dhiman takes pride in being part of a dynamic and nationally acclaimed team of faculty, dedicated to advancing Ayurvedic Pediatrics. With a passion for integrating traditional wisdom with contemporary scientific methodologies, she aims to enhance the role of Ayurveda in child healthcare.
