On 22 April 2025, a group of 91 enthusiastic students and 4 esteemed faculty members from the Faculty of Indian Medical System (FIMS), SGT University, embarked on an enriching educational visit to the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Sarita Vihar, New Delhi.

This immersive experience was designed to provide experiential learning and deepen understanding of classical Ayurvedic principles. Highlights of the visit included:

Introduction to Manuscripts Related to Ayurveda

Hands-on exposure to Language Labs and their application in Ayurvedic education

In-depth interaction with the Department of Samhita Siddhanta, exploring the roots of Ayurvedic philosophy and literature

Guided orientation to the various academic and clinical activities of AIIA

The visit was led by our respected faculty members – Dr. Geeta, Dr. Kusum, Dr. Akhilesh, and Dr. Vyas – who actively engaged with the institute’s experts and encouraged students to connect traditional knowledge with modern academic tools.

This collaborative initiative reinforced the importance of integrating classical Ayurvedic wisdom with contemporary practices, empowering future Vaidyas with holistic learning.
