Biostatistical Analysis in AYUSH Research
The Faculty of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, SGT University, successfully organized a two-day workshop on "Biostatistical Analysis in AYUSH Research" on the 3rd and 4th of September 2024, under the aegis of the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC). The workshop was held at the B-block TV Studio of SGT University from 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM on both days. The session featured Dr. Apar Avinash Saoji, Principal of the School of Yoga and Naturopathic Medicine at S-VYASA Deemed to be University, Bengaluru, India, as the esteemed speaker. He shared his valuable insights on the application of biostatistics in AYUSH research, emphasizing the importance of data analysis and interpretation in evidence-based natural medicine. The event was convened by Dr. Sangeeth Somanadhapai, Dean of FNYS, and coordinated by Dr. Sunil Singh Yadav (Assistant Professor) and Dr. Rita Thapa (Lecturer), with Dr. Sunita Sahish (Assistant Professor) serving as the IIC Coordinator. The workshop was well-attended by students and faculty members, offering a significant learning opportunity in research methodology and biostatistical applications within the AYUSH framework. The event concluded successfully with positive feedback from participants, contributing greatly to their academic and research skills development.
