On August 22nd, 2023, the Faculty of Design at SGT University hosted a hands-on workshop on Needle Punch Embroidery, offering students a unique opportunity to explore this intricate and versatile textile art form. The session aimed at enhancing their creative and technical skills, equipping them with new design techniques to enrich their portfolios.

The workshop began with an introduction to the history and applications of needle punch embroidery, highlighting its roots in traditional handcrafting and its growing popularity in contemporary fashion and home décor. The expert facilitator demonstrated the fundamentals of the craft, including fabric selection, threading the needle punch tool, and creating various stitch patterns.
