National Level Webinar

The Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CRC-Chhatarpur), in collaboration with SGT University, Gurugram, hosted a significant National Level Webinar on January 24, 2025. The one-hour session, scheduled from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, explored the theme "AI and Education: Preserving Human Agency in a World of Automation."
The event commenced with a warm welcome by Mr. Rajmani Pal, Director of CRC Chhatarpur and program convener, who highlighted current initiatives in education and skill development. Professor Madhavi Sharma, Dean of Education Faculty at SGT University, Gurugram, and Mr. Ravindra Saini, Head of Special Education Department, enriched the session with their opening remarks.
Mr. Praveen Kumar Jat, Assistant Professor of Special Education at SGT University, delivered an insightful presentation on "Transforming Education: A Journey from Education 1.0 to Education 5.0." His comprehensive discussion encompassed the evolution from traditional Gurukul systems to modern human-centered approaches, incorporating inclusive education, Indian Sign Language, and digital learning methodologies.
The webinar's success was ensured by coordinators Mr. Akash Kumar Sahu and Ms. Preeti Yadav from CRC Chhatarpur. Drawing participation from across India, the event attracted over 100 attendees, including notable presence from CRC Chhatarpur staff. This initiative marked a significant stride toward fostering innovative and inclusive educational practices.
The event was further enriched by the active participation of faculty members from SGT University's Department of Special Education, Dr. Neha, Dr. Manita, Dr. Sandeep, Dr.Chandan, Ms.Poonam, Ms.Priyanka, Mr.Abhra, Mr.Sharvan, Mr.Awadesh & rehabilitation professionals from CRC Chhatarpur, like Dr. Amit Kumar, Dr. Sanjay Singh, and Dr. Neelam Sharma. Mr. Prateek Bindua, Ms. Akanksha Patel, Ms. Aruna Sarathe, and Ms. Lakshmi Raikwar contributed valuable insights during the interactive sessions.
