Mission Life & E-Waste Management

The Faculty of Education at SGT University organized a workshop on "Mission LiFE & E-Waste Management" on September 11, 2024, under the academic associations Tutelage & Qabil. The event was held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Discussion Hall, E-Block, and was coordinated by Dr. Neha Sharma. Dr. Renu Sharma led the session, emphasizing the significance of sustainable living, responsible e-waste disposal, and the environmental impact of improper waste management.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness among students about e-waste hazards, recycling processes, and sustainable practices. Participants engaged in interactive discussions and hands-on activities, reinforcing the importance of individual actions in environmental conservation. The event concluded with a Q&A session, where students explored strategies for incorporating sustainability into daily life.
Key outcomes of the session included:

The event was successfully organized under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Madhavi Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Education, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Poonam Talwar. Based on student feedback, plans are in place to organize another session on this important topic. The workshop was a valuable learning experience, inspiring participants to adopt greener practices in their daily lives.
