Apoorva Choudhary is an RCI-licensed clinical psychologist and a PhD scholar at SGT University in Gurugram. She holds an academic excellence award for her MSc in Clinical Psychology and achieved the 5th rank in the National Quiz on Schizophrenia. With a strong passion for her field, she has two years of training experience and two years of clinical experience, specializing in working with children and adults facing psychological issues. Apoorva has actively contributed to the field of psychology through her research publications. She has published papers in UGC care-listed, peer-reviewed journals and Scopus-indexed journals. She has edited one book titled “Everyday Psychology: Applying Psychological Insights in Modern Life.” Additionally, she has published articles on important topics such as “Breaking the silence: speaking about childhood sexual trauma”, “Gender differences in Rape Supportive Attitude in two rape scenarios: Acquaintance and Stranger Rape” in E-Journal Times Magazine in 2023 and “Research Findings on Socio-Cognitive Factors of Rape Supportive Attitude”, “Unrevealing Sexuality from Normalcy to Deviancy Through the Lens of Psychological Sciences” and “Navigating Loneliness and Its Impact on Mental Health” in The Print Magazine in 2023. Apoorva actively participates in national and international conferences, where she presents her research papers. Her areas of research interest include clinical psychology, criminal psychology, sexual abuse, and behavior. Currently pursuing her PhD, she strives to contribute further to the understanding and advancement of her field.
