Mr. Jai Prakash Kushvah
Assistant Professor

Mr. Jai Prakash Kushvah is working as Assistant Professor in Dept of Clinical Psychology and also leading the Cognitive Science Program at the Faculty of Behavioural Sciences. He holds an integrated Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Cognitive-Neurosciences. He has completed his doctoral work in the field of Cognitive Ergonomics from IfADo, Germany and on the verge of submitting his thesis in the Psychology dept. of the Technical University, Dortmund. Earlier, he held several research positions in the IITs. He worked at Sleep and Cognition Lab of IIT Guwahati on prospective memory and sleep related project. He was involved in research projects including developmental dyslexia, goal-directed future cognition, creativity, prospective memory, attention intervention and brain computer interface at Psychophysiology laboratory of IIT Bombay. He holds expertise in conceptual and applied research in the field of behavioural, cognitive, and brain mapping and data processing approaches (observational, questionnaires, reaction time, force data, eye tracking, electroencephalography, neuromodulation, and neuroimaging). Currently, he is looking for interested students to be the part of cognitive lab research activities (voluntary training and research work).
