Mr. Shivam Bhardwaj

Mr. Shivam Bhardwaj is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radio-Imaging Technology, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, SGT University. A proud alumnus of the university, he has completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Radio-Imaging Technology from SGT University.
He brings with him valuable academic experience through various academic and administrative roles, including Clinical Coordinator, Examination Head, Program Coordinator. His teaching interests encompass core areas of medical imaging such as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional Radiology, and Radiation Protection.
His research is focused on radiation dose optimization in CT imaging, radiation safety awareness, and the role of emerging technologies in radiology. He is particularly interested in the integration of Artificial Intelligence in diagnostic imaging.
Mr. Bhardwaj has demonstrated a strong inclination toward academic innovation and applied research. He is a co-registrant of a design patent for a Deep Learning-Based Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Scanning Device, officially registered under the Designs Act, 2000. In addition, he has contributed to institutional initiatives such as the development of quality control tools in imaging, which were showcased at Synergy, SGT University. He has also participated in various national and international conferences and workshops, further enriching his academic and professional growth.
His strong academic foundation, research involvement, and commitment to advancing radiological education make him a valued member of the faculty.
