Mr. Ambethkar Suprent is an experienced professional in the field of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, with a strong academic foundation and an extensive portfolio of clinical and teaching experience spanning over two decades. He holds a Master’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (MASLP) from the Ali Yavar Jung National Institute for the Hearing Handicapped, University of Mumbai (2002–2004), and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from the All-India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore University (1999–2001). He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, demonstrating his continuous commitment to academic and professional growth.

Mr. Ambethkar Suprent is recognized both nationally and internationally. He is licensed by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI – A54706), with active registration valid until 2027, and also licensed from the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board (License No. SP 17678). He has been a life member of the Indian Speech and Hearing Association (ISHA) since 2001, further highlighting his longstanding involvement in the professional community.

His teaching experience includes key academic roles such as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor across multiple prestigious institutions. Notable among these are the Sweekar Institute of Speech and Hearing, PES Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, and SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, where he served for nine years. He has also worked at Sri Mookambika Institute of Allied Health Sciences and is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, SGT University, Haryana. Through these roles, he has been actively involved in curriculum design, university examination coordination, question paper setting, and serving as both internal and external examiner—indicating his deep involvement in academic administration and policy-making.

Clinically, Mr. Ambethkar Suprent has accumulated rich and diverse experience both in India and the United States. In the U.S., he worked in various capacities as a Speech-Language Pathologist in skilled nursing facilities and school districts across California, including Hallmark Rehab Care, Pristine Rehab Care, Cumberland Therapy Services, and Bilingual Inc. His clinical roles in India include positions at PSG Medical College, Coimbatore, and Rotary’s Reach School for the Deaf, also in Coimbatore. These experiences have given him a broad and multicultural perspective on patient care across paediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Additionally, he has taken on several leadership responsibilities in his academic roles. These include serving as an Academic Curriculum In-Charge, University Exam Coordinator, and head of Super Specialty Clinics such as the Dysphagia and Voice Clinics. His multidisciplinary experience, leadership in both academic and clinical settings, and passion for speech and hearing sciences underline his dedication to delivering quality service, fostering student growth, and advancing the field of communication disorders through research and innovation.
