As a part of the academic enrichment initiative a Research laboratory visit to Jamia Hamdard University was organized by Department of Life sciences, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences on 21st May 2025. Students of M.Sc. Microbiology and B.Sc. Microbiology were accompanied with faculty members Dr. Sunita Sheoran, Dr. Monika and Dr. Neha, who guided and supported them throughout the experience.

The visit offered a hands-on introduction to high-end laboratory instruments and modern research techniques. Students gained practical exposure to various instruments like HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography), Cell Line Culture Techniques, Protein Extraction and Purification, Electrospinning using Super ES-2- fascinating demonstration of nanofiber fabrication, with applications in tissue engineering and drug delivery.

The experience was not only educational but also inspiring- it gave students a clearer perspective on how the concepts they study are applied in cutting-edge research and industry settings.
