The Department of Neurosciences, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, organized an educational visit to the National Brain Research Centre (NBRC), Manesar, on 24th April 2025. This visit proved to be a highly enriching experience for the students of B.Sc. and M.Sc. Neuroscience at SGT University. The students were introduced to the principles and functioning of cutting-edge neuroimaging technologies such as fMRI and MEG. Students gained valuable insights into how these tools are used to study brain structure and function in research.

The exposure helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application, deepening their understanding of the role of imaging in diagnosing neurological disorders and trauma. Interactions with domain experts and insights into ongoing research projects at NBRC further inspired students to explore future academic and career opportunities in neuroscience. Such visits not only enhance conceptual clarity but also serve as a powerful platform for experiential learning and holistic professional development.
